Happy Birthday Ron

I just wanted to wish my brother a happy birthday and say a few nice things about him (really). One thing about my brother is that he can always make me laugh, even when I decide that I am not going to laugh at something stupid he says. Growing up I always wanted my brothers acceptance, so I loved it when he started letting me ride out to the cottage. The radio would be blasting with Billy Idol or the Beach Boys but I wouldn't say a word about the loudness for fear of not being allowed to ride with him again. I also remember the time he brought me to his ex-girlfriends house without informing them I was his sister. I was thrilled that they thought I looked old enough to be his girlfriend. For most of my life I have thought pretty highly of my brother ( ok, not the early years growing up) and I have seen him turn into a great husband and wonderful dad. We don't often get too mushy in my family but I am going to break tradition and tell him that I love him and that I am proud to have him as my brother.

Happy Birthday Ron. I'm happy to have him as a cousin (-in-law?)

Thank you Tami, yes that was sweet when they thought you were my "new" girlfriend. Billy Idol rocks.
Stop it, before you make me cry

As a Mom, I must say that this almost makes my eyes tear. Back when the days were filled with teasing, picking on, and just plain being mean to each other, I never thought they both would grow up to be as nice as they are.
Ponderings of a Mom.............

Happy Birthday, Ron!

Happy Birthday Carl.

I too, have fond memories of Ron listening to loud music. In the Chevette going to Cappons for gas--it was totally Guns-n-Roses. In the Mastercraft it was Great White--My,my, my, Once Bitten twice shy baby!

80s rock ruled.

I too am very proud of Ron. For the life of me, I don't know why. My best memory of him was when he was about 6 months old and I tried to teach him to walk. What a mistake. First it was walking, then basketball, then soccer, then watersking, then hockey ( well maybe not hockey) then I found him a wife, set him up in business, helped him retire, even planned his funeral. Wow, he owes me.

That dude rocks, I love that material

You are right, new material is a must. Changing from Raging Cow to Sparky and put up semi-porn? A little sketchy...

semi porn? Is that naked tractor and trailers? You're sick.

What I posted was Christmas Vacation and Chelle watched it as a child with Fig

I have never thougt very highly of Ron or even like him for that matter.
I remember him listening to opera music. He was always sort of a fag.
But, I guess you can't choose who your brother is.
